# Shrine System

Sit by the Shrine altar to earn Shrine Points, Auto-Combat time and Activity Tickets, up to 60 minutes a day.

The **Shrine** is a quiet room where you sit down next to the altar and listen to its music. While you sit, you earn:

* **Shrine Points**, to trade for items
* extra **Auto-Combat time**
* **Activity Tickets**
* a spot on the **Shrine ranking**

You can sit for up to **60 minutes per day**.

## Getting there

1. Talk to the **Shrine Guardian** in Prontera (`prontera` 149, 142).
2. Choose **Enter Shrine**.

To leave, walk into the portal on the west side of the Shrine. It takes you back to Prontera (156, 189).

## How to earn

1. Walk up to the altar. When you get close, you see: *"You have arrived in the proximity of an enchanting Shrine Altar..."*
2. **Sit down** (Insert key or `/sit`) within **15 cells** of the altar.
3. You see *"You have sat and listened to the calming rhythm of the Shrine System."* and a status icon appears.
4. Stay seated. Every full **60 seconds** counts as **1 Shrine minute**.

| Every Shrine minute | Normal    | VIP        |
| ------------------- | --------- | ---------- |
| Auto-Combat time    | +1 minute | +2 minutes |

When you finish your **60th minute** of the day, the session is complete and you get:

| Completing the 60-minute session               | Normal | VIP |
| ---------------------------------------------- | ------ | --- |
| Shrine Points                                  | 1      | 2   |
| Trait AP (if your character can earn Trait AP) | 3 | 3 |

| Daily total (60 Shrine minutes) | Normal | VIP     |
| ------------------------------- | ------ | ------- |
| Shrine Points                   | 1      | 2       |
| Auto-Combat time                | 1 hour | 2 hours |

{% hint style="info" %}
Shrine Points only come from finishing the full 60 minutes. Stopping at 59 minutes gives no Shrine Points that day, but the minutes you did sit still count, so you can come back later the same day and finish.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Stay seated.** Standing up, or leaving the Shrine, stops the timer, and the minute you were in the middle of does not count. Sit down again to start a new minute.
{% endhint %}

## Activity Tickets

While you are seated, a separate counter runs. About every **5 minutes 45 seconds** of sitting, you receive:

* **1x Activity Ticket**
* **+1** to your Shrine ranking score

This counter is saved on your character, so standing up does not reset it. You only get tickets while you are under your 60 daily minutes.

## Daily limit and reset

* The **60 minutes per day** limit is per **account**. All your characters share it.
* Everything resets at **23:59** server time.
* Your **Auto-Combat time also resets at 23:59**, so Auto-Combat time earned here does not carry over to the next day. Use it the same day.

When you hit the limit you see: *"You have already reached the maximum time for day in Shrine System for 60 Minutes."*

## Trading Shrine Points

Shrine Points belong to the **character** that earned them. Your total is shown when you talk to the Shrine Guardian or the Shrine Helper.

To trade, talk to the **Shrine Guardian** (Prontera) or the **Shrine Helper** inside the Shrine, choose **Trade Point**, then pick a shop:

| Shop        | Item       | Price          |
| ----------- | ---------- | -------------- |
| Consumables | Red Potion | 1 Shrine Point |

You cannot talk to the Shrine Helper while you are sitting.

## Ranking

Choose **Ranking List** at the Shrine Guardian or Shrine Helper to see the **Top 10**. Your ranking score goes up by 1 every time you receive an Activity Ticket from the Shrine. If you are not in the Top 10, your own score is shown below the list.

## Bonus: Playtime Points

If you are inside the Shrine when an hour of Playtime completes, you get **+4 bonus Playtime Points** on top of your normal Playtime reward. Other towns, except Prontera, give +2.

## Shrine rules

The Shrine is a town map with these limits:

* no experience, no monster loot
* no vending
* no teleporting, and you cannot save or memo there
* you cannot `@warp` into it; use the Shrine Guardian

## FAQ

**I sat down but nothing happened.** You are probably more than 15 cells from the altar. Move closer and sit again. If you sit too far away, you only see how much Auto-Combat time you have left.

**Do I need to stay online?** Yes. You must be online, inside the Shrine and seated.

**Can I earn on two characters?** They share the same 60 minutes per day, because the limit is per account. Shrine Points stay on the character that earned them.

**Does it matter if I am VIP?** Yes. VIP gets 2 Auto-Combat minutes per Shrine minute instead of 1, and 2 Shrine Points for finishing the session instead of 1. Activity Tickets are the same.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://wiki.yami-ro.net/server-features/church-system.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
