# How to Rebirth

Everything is done from one menu. Type **`@rebirth`** in chat, from anywhere.

## The main screen

The first page shows your progress:

* **Rebirth**: your current count, out of 100
* **Grand Rebirth**: your Grand Rebirths this season
* **Tier**: your current tier, out of 10
* **Rebirth Points**: your RP balance
* **Unspent Picks**: shown in red only when you have picks to spend

Press **Next** to get the menu:

| Option              | What it does                                                                                                       |
| ------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| Rebirth             | Normal rebirth.                                                                                                    |
| Grand Rebirth | Available once your Rebirth count is 100. |
| Power Ups | Spend picks. Shows how many picks you have. |
| Reset Power Ups | Refund all picks (a "respec"). |
| Auto Rebirth `[RG]` | Turn auto rebirth on or off. `R` is auto Rebirth, `G` is auto Grand Rebirth. Green means on, a red dash means off. |
| Rebirth Ranking | Top 10 and your own rank. |
| Information         | A short in-game summary of the system.                                                                             |

## Normal Rebirth, step by step

1. Reach **base level 255**.
2. Remove any **cart, falcon or mount**. Close trades, shops, storage and chat rooms.
3. Type `@rebirth`, press **Next**, choose **Rebirth**.
4. If something is missing, the NPC tells you what (see [Requirements](/server-features/rebirth-system/requirements.md)).
5. Confirm with **Yes** at *"Rebirth now and restart at level 1/1?"*.
6. You are now base level 1 / job level 1, still the same class. Chat shows:
   * `You have rebirthed successfully!`
   * `You received X Rebirth Points. (Total: Y)`

How many RP you get depends on your Tier. See [Tiers and Rewards](/server-features/rebirth-system/tiers-and-rewards.md).

## Grand Rebirth, step by step

1. Get your Rebirth count to **100** and reach **base level 255** again.
2. Type `@rebirth`, press **Next**, choose **Grand Rebirth**.
3. The NPC warns: *"This resets your normal rebirth count to 0. Your Total Grand Rebirth and tier are permanent."* Choose **Yes**.
4. You go back to level 1/1. Your Rebirth count is now 0, and both Grand Rebirth counters go up by 1.
5. Everyone on the server sees: `[ Rebirth System ]: <name> has achieved Grand Rebirth N!`
6. If this pushed you into a new Tier, everyone also sees `<name> has reached Rebirth Tier N!`, and you get your new picks and aura.

{% hint style="info" %}
At Rebirth count 100 the normal **Rebirth** option stops working ("You have reached the current limit."). Grand Rebirth is the only way forward.
{% endhint %}

## Auto Rebirth

Auto Rebirth does the rebirth for you the moment you level up to 255. Choose **Auto Rebirth** in the menu, then one of:

| Choice                  | Effect                                                            |
| ----------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Auto Rebirth only | Rebirths automatically while your count is below 100. |
| Auto Grand Rebirth only | Grand Rebirths automatically when your count is 100. |
| Both | Does whichever one you qualify for. Grand Rebirth is tried first. |
| Off                     | Turns it off.                                                     |

How it behaves:

* It fires about **half a second** after you reach 255.
* Your setting is **saved** and stays on after you log out.
* It still needs every normal requirement. If you have a cart or falcon out when you hit 255, nothing happens.
* It only checks when you **level up to 255** or when you **change the setting**. If it was blocked, fix the problem, then open the Auto Rebirth menu and pick your setting again to make it try once more.

## Spending your picks

After a Tier up, open `@rebirth` > **Power Ups**. See [Power Ups and Picks](/server-features/rebirth-system/power-ups-and-picks.md).

## Checking your build

Type **`@rstats`** to see your Tier, unspent picks and every Power Up you own with its current rank.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://wiki.yami-ro.net/server-features/rebirth-system/how-to-rebirth.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
